Having trouble finding headers to clear on a 440 into a 71 RR. Just tried Hedman 78076 HTC mid length headers via edelbrock performer heads, but the clearance is too tight, I'm rubbing on the strut inner fender walls. Any suggestions? Perhaps some full length to keep the tubes tighter/closer to the block? Pictures attached.....

Interesting question, had 2” on my ‘68 with a 440. It was close, but I had Hooker competition, a long time ago. Wouldn’t think body would be too different.

If I were looking for new headers, I would try TTI tri-Y's in stainless. Lots more room around everything, especially the starter and power steering with better plug access! Good luck in your quest and belated welcome aboard!
