440 heat stove

Hi guys,
Should my 70 GTX with 440-4 & Airgrabber have a heatstove and is there any difference if it is a 4bbl or 6pak to have one orig. fitted ?
I have seen some advertised for Chall/Cuda, arn't they the same fit for B & E HP manifolds?

As a rule - The manifold heat stove was not on the 6 pack, 4 bbl only.

So while not functional, it was installed on the engine when that was assembled ya?
I realise the 'hose' to the airfilter assy would not work, but wasnt sure if the tin exh. manifold covers where still factory installed on the HP exhaust ?

It may have been installed on a 6 pk motor but would not be hooked up and as a rule should not have been there. I was just reading an article on it is how I know..
