For sale. 1965 440. casting date, 6-28-65. block is .040 over bore. Forged crank stock stroke. yl rods, cast flat top pistons, #516 cylinder heads, oem camshaft and lifters. this engine has less than 5k miles when pulled from station wagon, then stored inside for @8 years. Lifters show no wear at all, bores are still showing hone marks. Will sell short block with out heads if you want to go with less shipping weight. Have all bolts, balancer, car oil pan. Truck rear sump pan available. Stock points dist, or electronic, Pan and pick up tube, dip stick and tube. I would rering and use purple shaft cam.
