I may build a 383 or 400 stroker at some point and curious if these are the desired rods to have? What should I look for on a used set aside from obvious cracks or major scoring? These are casting # 1851535. Thanks guys.

Oh and they're $50 locally so thought I should grab them, just looking for input from you guys. Don't need more parts if they won't get used.

They work well and will be even happier with a lighter piston. Things that can go wrong: Too many resizing efforts; bent or in need of alignment; too much grinding on caps or the small end in order to balance; spun bearing damage may require a lot or work to make right. Overall it's best to find a nice original set out of one engine.

They were just pulled from a 413 motor home block, pistons still attached. Cheap enough to take the chance I guess. Thanks guys.
