I recently purchased a 440 with the following documented work completed and thinking about going a different direction. My original plan was to use this motor to buy me some time before I rebuilt the original motor and resell this one. Now that my front end alignment turned into a complete front of the car restoration I'm rethinking this plan.
440 Block, casting number 4006630-440-7 with recent machining per the attached invoice from D&A Machine Shop
906 heads with recent machining per the same attached invoice
Brand new Speed Pro L2266f30 pistons
Crank was re-manufactured by sealed power with matching main and rod bearings
Brand new competition cam
New gasket set.
The short block was assembled by the previous owner and the heads, push rods and lifters are in place but the head gasket was not sealed or torqued. I paid $900 for it and all I want is to get my $900 back. I'm in Buford GA and I'm willing to palatalize and ship it on your dime. I can get a good rate with Pilot Freight.
