440 Magnum Emblem Mounting?

I just picked up a pair of 440 Magnum hood emblems to install on my fiberglass Grabber hood. All of the studs are intact but I had anticipated them to have threads to mount to the hood. As pictured just pointed studs, what is the correct way to secure them to the hood? On some other listings it almost looked like rubber tubing over the studs? Thanks
