Can’t see the pic of the one you need. If it’s the straight one I have it.

This is the pan I have. Center sump with a baffle plate. The straight one should work.

The one you have and the straight one wind up in the same place..... The straight one doesn't clear baffles in some pans

The one I have isn't too high vertically from the pan rail, but juts out too far rearward and hits the upslope off the pan. The pan sits flat on the rails but wont slide far enough front to back to line up.

whatever stock tubes are...I think so. I'll measure it tomorrow.
1/2 is the Hemi tube, 3/8 is for a stock 440.
I am still waiting for a stock 1/2" Hemi oil pickup tube, the straight style, everyone seems to be out of stock.

I just went through the same problem. The straight melling 63-s3 will not resolve your problem with that low capacity low pan. It will end up in the same place hitting the pan were the drain plug is. I just bought the proper 6qt pan and used the oil pick up that you pictured. However I did surmise that if you cut and rethread your original pick up or the straight pickup by about an inch that it would reduce it's depth in the pan and place it more towards the front of that pan. I do have a new 63-s3 pick up if you want it for cheap.

I'll see. Several others are trying to help me resolve this as well.

Personally rather than find a pickup that fits the pan I'd focus on a pan that fits the pickup... That pan holds 4.5 quarts with a filter... You can buy a 6 qt pan nearly as cheaply as a pickup...
