I can't tell you much regarding the HP exhaust but the straight boots I just bought (summit brand) for my 69 charger 400BB won't fit, they hit the passenger side inner fender. I will be exchanging them for angle boots and then hoping they clear the headers. Good Luck
I took my wires back today, they had a real hard time finding 90 degree boots in a 50 ohm wire (recommended for my 6AL ignition) so I ended up getting MSD's 32739. They have a straight boot that can bent to the bend you want, they seam reluctant to bend 90 degrees but I didn't need them to anyhow. They are 8.5 mm and seam to be a really nice wire. Good luck
I bought the 8.5 bulk wire(MSD) , straight connectors and 90's and put some together to clear my headers that I felt comfortable with. I have the competition plus bigger tube header. There are a couple of plugs that have to come out with a wrench because they are to far behind a tube.
With HP manifolds you will need (7) 90degree and (1) straight. What I do is buy 2 universal sets form Jegs/Summit (one 90degree set and one straight set) and build my own. That way you can really fine tune the lengths. my2cents
I agree as these are Firecore wires I use. Mine are the 45 angle but he will make what ever angles you want. These fit great but I have headers. A guy on Moparts sells them as his handle is ( SunroofGTX ) and his name is Rick. Ron
