So on a recent parts hunt to the Charlotte, NC area I came upon this.
440 powered Magnum wagon

Wasn't Fred!I wonder if the 5.7 out of it went into somebody's '68 GTX or something? This isn't reverse engineering, it's backwards engineering.
Speaking of Fred have you seen that 68’ roadrunner for sale there in Mooresburg?Wasn't Fred!
I dunno, looks well done so far - and if the car gets set up for an RB, it'll handle most any other
engine one would throw at it later too.
Probably was a 2.7 carI wonder if the 5.7 out of it went into somebody's '68 GTX or something? This isn't reverse engineering, it's backwards engineering.

I think that’s just a mock up engine. He said something about a stroker build. He’s definitely not doing all this for a slug motor.Different
I like the Magnum wagons
I wonder why or what happened to the Hemi ?
or if it even had a Hemi ?
may have been a v6 car, makes a tad bit more sense that way
I like the build-style/some choices
just not sure about his choice to power it
a weak *** Motorhome engine, lots of work for that deal
to each their own thou, it's his not mine
I'd have gone with anything better, more power
even a nice stroked 400/383
or
a Gen 3 Hemi like a Scatpak/Trackpack/1320 392cid
or Hellcat or something alone the performance lines
lots of them in wrecking yards, cheap
better yet a Hellephant 426cid 1,000hp Gen 3 Hemi
if he's bucks up
hell so many co.s have support for the Newer Hemis
you can plug & play with a lil' ingenuity, efi & computer controlled
highly tuneable
or even carbureted if you were afraid of all the electronics
thanks for sharing
