Hello,
1st post for me, thanks for accepting me to the forum.
I came across a 1969 440 stamped: E440 10 30 HP2.
I've looked online for codes, guess I'm not tech savvy enough.
Can anyone help me with specs?
Much appreciated in advance!

Send it to me, I could use it! LOL

HP (magnum / Super commando) Engine assembled October 30th, 1968 on the 2nd shift. E = 1969 model year

E is 1969, displacement, October 30th, HP, 2nd shift. If you want to know more 440Source block and castings page is a good place to start if you don't have any other service manuals.

someone restoring a factory 440 car would be pretty happy to have that block if its still in good shape.

What is the VIN on the passenger's side of the block? That may tell us what it came out of.

Don’t forget that other vehicle manufacturers bought Mopar engines and used their own numbering systems on the stamp pad.

Eg the Jensen used the 383 & 440 BB in their Interceptor. Some of these ex Jensen engines have subsequently been fitted to Chrysler vehicles.
