67 steel crank shortblock. Old domed 7025p Speed Pro pistons cut down to flat tops, .060 over. Resized rods, MP .450/.458 hydraulic cam, very low run time...looks pretty fresh. BUT...the block is cracked at a water jacket due to freezing. I'll include the 346 heads (need a freshening) with the matching MP springs, and clean OE stamped rockers/shafts as well. $400 for all.
77 bare virgin 440 block - $150
68 bare block, .040 over. Needs $150 deck repair due to head gasket failure. $100 gets it.
Steel crank core. .010/.010 now, will most likely need .020 on the rods. Straight, no visable issues. $100 and it's yours.
Haul it all away for $700, open to all offers.
This could be a CHEAP 440 for fun: Machine one of the bare blocks and transfer the 67 guts to it. A quick VJ and bead blast on the 346 heads and you have great running 400 easy HP 440 for chump change.
