[/ATTACH] im posting a picture of the cam card for my 493 stroker. Cam is a custom solid roller from dywane porter. The compression ended up being 11.2 instead of 10.6 like I originally thought head flow is 302 @ 600lift intake and 220 exhaust. also running a 4200 ptc 9 1/2 converter instead of the Hughes 3000. So my engine is at the machine shop getting assembled now. I just wanted to thank everyone that helped me on this great forum

Sounds very close to my 493. I have a Dwayne Porter custom solid flat tappet cam and use a Dynamic 9.5 converter in my 63 which drives so nicely on the street with that converter. Glad to hear yours is coming together. Ron

Pretty much my FT with the extra lift of a roller. Should run well!

my cam does look like the same specs just a roller, 68 HEMI GTS. my weak link are my heads 440source stealths. they have a lot of port work done. only flowed 267@ .600lift intake out of the box and now they flow 302@ .600lift .Dwayne porter said eddie rpms don't flow what they advertised either. he matched the cam with the rest of the combo and said horsepower should peak 5800 to 6000 rpm. he is a nice guy fun to talk too and definitely knows his stuff

I don't think any of the heads flow the claimed/advertised numbers. Saw a bunch of that at a local cylinder-head service.

I trust only the numbers Dwayne puts out there as they have proven to be SPOT ON!
