hi
I want to run the digitails led tail lights but they only make them for the 69 coronet 500. Not same tail light as the 69 bee. Can I use 69 500 tail lights with a super bee/440 tail panel or will there be interference? Thanks.

can not answer your question, but I want to the same thing. I will be watching this thread.

??? Two different layouts. How would the 500 lights fit in a 440/Bee tail panel?

Maybe my terminology is off. Here is the long winded version. I have a 1969 coronet 440 model. It has the same tail lights/tail light housings as a 1969 super bee trim level coronet.
I want to buy the digitails led tail lights for my car but they only offer them for the 1969 coronet 500 model tail lights.
My question is: Will coronet 500 model tail lights/housings fit with the original 440 coronet model tail panel trim piece? I don’t like the coronet 500/RT tail panel trim piece with the third reflector. I like the super bee/440 model tail panel trim.
Would there be interference with the 440 model tail panel trim piece and the 500 model tail light housings? If I can mount the 500 tail light housings with the 440 model tail panel trim piece. I will track down 500 model tail light housings/lenses so I can run the digitails led tail light conversions. Sorry for long winded. Wanted to explain myself.

I'm still getting past the want for LED's but carry on...

Do you change your socks three times a day, I haven't even got to pulling out my OE taillights for you and you're already on another path..

It’s actually four times a day. I think fast and act fast. Probly carry over from the career.

And the want is for something better than a bulb that is the equivalent of a candle in brightness.

But the OE look... something you've got to love or I've lost all faith...

Guess I won't bother wasting my time on my OE's for you.

Your not wasting anything. I’m just simply gathering all info. I like oe and updated. Sequential LED sounds pretty neat. Just gathering info. Either way I gotta get my bezels nicer. I appreciate all your help.

So, your wanting to put this light in this panel?

They don't look like the same shape on the ends

These lights? Into the superbee panel?

Doesn't look like it, without some fabrication in the inside ends.

This is what I did...1966 Thunderbird sequential's in a 1967 Coronet 500.

Yes exactly. Doesn’t look like without some fabrication work we have anything. I might try sending digitails a bee tail light housing to build a led panel for it. Weird they the 500. You would think the bee would be a better seller.
