I'm going nuts trying to find out the correct slip yoke for my application. I have a 2005 5.7/545RFE from a Dodge 2500 4x4 pu. I purchased a Tail Housing Kit from Street & Performance, the out put shaft is 30 spline with 1.284 O.D.. Dodge dealer can't help me without a vin#, the drive line service says there isn't any aftermarket support for this specs so they wouldn't be able to balance a complete unit. I have read here that the 727 slip yoke will work but may not be the best solution. I talked to Chris at Hotwire Auto today and he was kind enough to research a bit and gave me a part number for one (05114568AA) that might work but I can't get any dimensions off the net. Has anybody got a solution???

The dealer is full of ****, no vin needed. But alas, a 727 yoke will work just fine. And if they insist on a vin, go there at night and copy a bin off one of their trucks.

Do you know if all the 2 wheel tail shafts use the same 30 spline and diameter out put shaft as mine or did I end up with an anomaly. Do you remember what the slip yoke was that you used on your 64 Dodge?

Mine didn't come with a yoke, but my buddy who works a Fresno Drive Line told me they are the same cause I wasn't sure what I should use. Found the correct yoke on eBay, but could have used a 727 yoke without issue.

Bouchillon has it.....
