58 Fury Golden Commando

I know. The world is choked with 57 chebbies but those just blow them away.

That is clean inside and out and even under the hood.

my first "hot rod" was a 58 plymouth. dual quad 318, 3spd, with fenderwell headers and the torsion bars jacked as high as they'd go. i sure was a dumb kid back then (not quit as dumb 46yrs later), but i do love those fin cars; except the 60 plymouth, too finny for me.

Absolutely beautiful car, if I had the money and space I could see one of those in my collection.
Thanks Rusty.

I'm an equal opportunity gear head

I thought this was super cool. A real Golden Commando car with a 3 speed on the tree.

:iamwithstupid: A 57 Golden Cammando w/big Block 350ci Wedge & a three speed very cool stuff, I always love that body style, but I also like the iconic 283ci Fuely or 283ci Powerpak 2x4bbl "57 Chevy Bel Air" too/also, I know - I know, but I don't "hate" any make of American cars, especially from the mid-late 50's & I'm an equal opportunity gear head, I'm just a lover of Mopars 1st... I'd like to have both... along with a 57-60 Belvedere, Fury & DeSoto {hemi prefered} or 57 Pontiac Superchief or Olds 88/Buick of the same era...

My dad had a 56 Fury 3 on the tree brand new. He said he was the to beat back then.

I don't believe 58 Plymouth had torsion bars correct me if I'm wrong.

1957 was the first year for the torsion bar suspension, so the 1958 car on Ebay has them.
