6.57 1/8 mile equals 10.37 1/4 mile

As one of our pals on B-Body site posted that his best 1/8 mile is now 6.57, I checked the Wallace Racing Website and it shows a 6.57 computes to a 10.37 1/4 mile time.

My best 1/8 mile is 6.646 and that was on my 10.512 quarter mile run.

Looks like my pal from Texas would outrun me in the 1/4 mile.

It depends on how the car is set up.
Maybe it's time for a heads-up race!

When I ran my 63 Dodge at 10.50 index it ran the 1/8 at 6.70. I find that 1/8 multiplied by 1.57 is usually very close. I'd say at 6.646/10.51 it either spins or needs a little converter help.
