6 bolt flywheel 8 bolt crank

Just received my stroker kit from UPS and contrary to what I was told on the phone, Mancini Racing sent me an 8 bolt crank when I told them I needed a 6. When I called, they said the kit doesn't come with a 6 bolt crank so I'm s.o.l. Does anyone know if the flywheel can be drilled for the 8 bolt pattern or am I shelling out another $350 for this build.

I think you should call customer service and complain wouldn't hurt to tell them your posting the out come on the Internet

Oh you should only need to buy a Flex plate???? ($82.00) The flywheel is part of the convertor.

mopar performance makes an sfi 8 bolt flexplate not very expensive part #p4529752AB,I baught the 6 bolt sfi approved and it seems pretty damn nice and did not cost me much,$89 on jegs!!

It is a 440 4 speed. The crank is an eagle 4.15 stroke. Anyone heard of a company called American Powertrain? They have one for $270 about $35 less than average. The Product line is called Science Friction, but I never heard of it and without some good feedback on it I'm skeptical.

8 bolt is just "standard Hemi" fare, so a replacement for a Hemi will do.

prolly already knew that though huh...
