Damn, I just turned 9 and crazy about Buddy's music already, what a loss..RIP


On February 3, 1959, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens andJ.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson and their pilot Roger Peterson died in a plane crash, a tragedy that has been remembered as “The Day the Music Died.”

Lost lots of Talent that day. Should have taken the Bus. Who was it that decided not to fly, think there was one more.
 
Waylon Jennings, after trading places with the Bopper, traded barbs. Richardson told Waylon, "I hope your old bus freezes" because the heater didn't work. Waymore replied that he hoped the plane crashed. It did and it bothered Waylon for the rest of his life.

My sisters first husband has his unused tickets from that concert
