Hi all I recently bought a 65 Coronet the car was disassembled for paint and the vent windows removed. I bought the car apart and it came with a bunch of extra vent window assemblies. One set was taken apart the chrome was missing and all the small parts were in a bag and rechromed. I didn't get the rechromed parts for the frame. The issue I have is I dug out the spares I thought I would just disassemble one of the other sets and get what I needed rechromed but they are different then the ones that are disassembled. The ones that came disassembled are a one piece frame when all the chrome is removed. The spares I have the frames are held together by the chrome piece. What is suppose to go on a 65 Coronet? Will any of them work (do they all interchange as assemblies?). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

only the 64 a will interchange on your 65. also the hardtops and sedans are different. sound like yours are for a hardtop. 63 the windshield lays back at a different angle.not sure on a 62?

no sir. I did look online to find some pictures to show you but found no good pictures. is the car you are building a sedan or a hardtop? the hardtop uses the one with the big chrome on the front. the sedan has a small frame that fits in the door frame. but the glass and all other pieces will fit each other.

Thanks I couldn't find anything for pictures either. I mocked the ones I have up on the car and they seem to fit I am sending them to the chrome place
