posting this for a friend - car is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
1962 Chrysler Newport - 2 door hardtop with 112k original miles, becoming an increasingly hard to find model, only the second registered owner, good running original 383 big block motor with 4 barrel carb and dual plane intake, runs great, rebuilt push button automatic transmission with heavy duty shift kit and high stall torque converter, high speed balanced drive shaft, new brake pads and wheel cylinders, red interior completely re-done years ago, but still looks great, body is straight and original, but rust is getting worse at bottom of fenders, below doors, at base of rear window, and in the trunk floor. Could use body work and paint in the near future. Also has newer radiator and hoses, rebuilt power steering pump, newer shocks and suspension/steering components, new heavy duty alternator, brand new Ultima battery with quick disconnect, Mopar Performance electronic ignition and voltage regulator. Would make a great summer project or just drive as is. Available to show most afternoons or weekends. More pictures available on request... $5,000k or best offer. Greg
