62 dart brakes

Hi everybody,Hoping you can help me out with the brake problem I'm having,I have power disc brakes front and back. it's the mbm brand on my 62 dart.my pedal feels stiff and some times I have to stand on them to get the car to stop! I had a good mechanic mess with them but he is not sure what else he can do with them.he said it could be the power booster is not correct,I have the ssbc vacuum pump so I'm getting plenty of vacuum from that. he said maybe I should just get rid of the power brake set up and just go with manual disc brakes but not sure how well they would stop the car.any help would be much appreciated!

Went and bought a wilwood mc, they work great now!! Thanks for the suggestion.

I believe that the Master cylinder was for a car with disc in the front and drums in the back.
