62 dodge 3 speed console

Don't know what I would do without B Bodies Only! Thought the hard part was over finding this console. Now I need to put it together properly, anybody have any experience with a 62 Plymouth and or Dodge 3 speed console? Any bit of info or knowledge greatly appreciated.

That's not a console, I would call it a "floor tunnel adapter".

In 1962 that was a console! LOL!! 63 year old console.

My understanding is, it is just a floor hump for the early 3 speed, just like the later 4 speeds had 'humps' for the floor.

Although I believe they were not screwed down, at least from the top, definitely not welded in, here is an original 62 with the hump 3 speed.

Looks like carpet, but not sure, maybe the shifter was changed, no idea.
The hump is on top of the flooring.

This is what the factory calls a "console", not used on B-bodies in '62.

Jeff Peterson is correct. Nicknamed the "Turtle Shell". 3 Speed Cover/Console whatever makes you happy and feel good. I'll just call it rare as hell.
