Pretty solid looking project. What engine would a golden commando have?383 4bbl?

When I saw it I turned around to find out more about it. All of the convertible specifics are there. It needs front/rear and trunk pans. I don't know the production #'s for verts but I'm sure that the Golden Commando Vert would be very rare. To bad the engine is missing. But this car has been able to avoid the crusher after ALL of these years. I figure a 4dr would be a good sacrifice to save this vert. I spoke with Big M salvage in Williams, CA and he has never had 1 and he has/had a lot of old Mopars.

Canadian 62 Golden Commando is a 361 4 barrel 305 HP. I think the U.S. car is the same.

Yes, 62 GC was a 361 4 barrel motor factory rated at 305 Hp. I have an original completely rebuilt 62 GC motor For Sale. It is complete from carb to exhaust.
