Just noticed something that may have been like this for a long time and I didn't notice it or just started. On my 62 Plymouth, when I pull the headlight switch out one notch the parking lights come on fine. When I pull it all the way out the headlights come on fine - but the parking lights are not on any longer. Before I go tearing into the wiring - does this sound like a wiring issue or maybe the switch is bad????

Nah,that's the way they are.I would like my parking lights to stay on also.I think a later like 65 or 66 & up headlight switch woould keep them on but I'm not sure if it's a "bolt on" deal.

Really?? That's strange. I never knew the early cars were set up this way. I wonder why they did not leave them on with the lights?
