What happened here?
I thought this fine car was sold?
Can it be put back together for overseas shipping to the UK?
John in England

Buyer backed out. Owner looking to sell as is. He also has a lot of extra parts which can be purchased along with the roller.

Many thanx for the reply,
Is it possible for the owner to 'roughly' re assemble for shipping at all?
John UK

That's sad to hear, for such a rare Mopar!
Whereabouts is the car and would he allow someone to come and re assemble?
Best wishes for Christmas from John in England

Spoke with the owner today. He said bring a trailer and take it away. Not interested in oversea shipping. He has all the parts to put it back together.

Many Thanx Frank,
If you was West Coast I could get that sorted right enough.
I don't have any contacts in Buffalo that could do this for me?

If the Fury is still therein the New Year I may be able to fly over and get it sorted myself.

Merry Christmas to you and your 62 Fury buddy.
Lets hope the New Year brings health and happiness to you all in NY .

Happy New Year Frank and friend,

Does the Fury have front suspension, axle and leaf-springs for this car?
Obviously we can't ship unless its a roller.

John in England

Any news Frank on the sale of the 62 Fury.
We are more than happy to fly over and assemble the car for transport to the UK.
Best wishes from John and Jim from England

Thank you Frank,

Its always nice to have guys that will go the extra mile for them!

Best wishes from -15 England lol.

The owner said he has another interested party so we shall see.

I know he has no idea where half the parts are. They’re here somewhere he says. If that fails Ill be in touch.

Ok Frank, I have some pals in MA that may be able to sort this for me too?

Best wishes from frozen England John and Jim

Can you pm (me) your friends contact details please.

So I speak to him directly, Frank.

best wishes from John and Jim UK

what is the actual condition of the “roller “ rust-wise ? does it have rust areas ? has there been rust repair ? is it now in rolling condition? if you like i can ask the owner if you would like to pm his contact number….

We can see from the original pictures that she has 'rust issues'.
The rear end looks better than the front cowl area.

Like most B-bodies there needs to be some front end strengthening done.

From my experience with 65 Coronets the tunnel area is quite small too.
I would fit (graft-in) a later front floor pan in myself.

Just got to buy her first ...
(We can't ship to the UK, unless she can roll on her own wheels)
