62 Plymouth leaf spring rebuild parts

I'm looking at rebuilding my leaf springs in the near future and cannot find a source for the fiberous leaf spacers. Mine are well worn. For a 318 car, 8 3/4 741 rear end. Anyone have recommendations?

Does anyone know if a later style kit could be modified to fit? I really don't want to tear it apart if I cannot make something work. Thanks.

I usually rebuild with full length plastic spacers the ones shaped like a H with about 1/4 inch lips- really smooth out the ride even with a couple of extra leaves
