I am looking for a right door mirror mount pedestal..do these exist in real life and is the pedestal that they are designed to mount on matching to the left side? I have a right mirror for the era...match to my left that sits on the driver's door pedestal...if this item is out there I am in the market for one.

thanks

Would it be the same twin post as a Dart... If so, left and right are the same - tough to place on the right so you can see anything in it though..... Considering going to fender mounts on my wagon like the Canadian version below.

thanks for the picture..I do like the forward fender mounting position..Polara trim line may make this a bit difficult to do as the mount is part of the beltline trim...I got a period correct set of mirrors and gaskets but sucking buckets on the pass door mount...

On the 62's, Dodge or Plymouth they could be anywhere.

I was hoping more members would be in the know on the mirrors and Polara 500 application...unlike the Dart and the pictured Plymouth of the year...the actual trim (beltline molding) incorporates the mount base for the mirror...AND THEN...I could well be chasing an invisible rabbit and this item is not available for the passenger side...that is the exact reason for the post...does it exist??.....and also another recent thread on wanting to find a parts breakdown for the Polara 500....with this IPB I could cut back on the questions...thanks again everyone..

That part is specific to the Polara 500 and Sport Fury on the top front of the door,a continuation of the trim strip,I have an extra if i can find it.

I have already downloaded the catalogs specific to my 62 and 65 model years....as I also have a 51 and a 52 Plymouth I found the accessory pamphlet nice to download also...

I have an NOS one listed on eBay but it's for the left side.

thanks, but I am not looking for the mirror..I am instead looking for the mirror mount base as seen in post 5 above but for the right hand side...(slash will be 180 out from this)

Joe Suchy has the Repro mirrors in his catalog ;
$145.00 each 62-66 "A" & "B" body two post outside mirror (the “correct” reproduction)
