I have a 67 satellite I inherited from my dad and discovered it has 63-64 long ram intakes with 3505s Carter carbs on it. Does anyone know the rarity or any other info?

Thanks

Nope, their junk, so I'll take them off your hands so you wont have to worry about them anymore, lol!!! I dont know about the carbs, but the long rams are rare and worth alot of money, more if you have all the linkage and carbs. Post a pic, some one here might be of better help than I.

Those carbs are worth some $$$ too... The 3505s Carb was used on the 1964 Chrysler 300K Long Ram 413. It is an AFB style carb as well.

So it looks like you have matching carbs to go with the runners... VERY valuable as a set

If it is complete with linage, carbs, and runners you're looking at around $2000+ in value

I knew somebody with more knowledge would chime in.

If I recall, there is a cross over tube which is frequently lost. If you still have yours you may want to be extra careful with it.

Here is a pic of them

Everything is there they really seem to put some torque thru the car lol

Oh I am SO jealous! Those old long ram intakes are crazy hard to find, especially with the matching carbs and linkage and they make tonsssss of power! Hard to believe that the guys who invented stuff like this did it all without computers like today. Those were so effective that they actually forced MORE air into the combustion chambers creating a "mild supercharger effect." The downsides are: tuning them can be a pain in the butt and if you drive in cold weather you are susceptible to fuel icing in the runners. The last time I saw a set of these for sale was just bare intakes and they wanted 1000 bucks. Hang on to these as they are rare!

There sitting on a 413 bored to 426 Im not sure what all else he did to the engine its been so long. I took to the strip and ran a 13.10. I know it has an 18spline and dana 60 along with the pistol grip shifter from a 70 hemi roadrunner and I think the gears he said were 4.56.

Clearence

The clearence is about a sledgehammer worth in the passenger inner fender lol. It does look like he trim the bottom of the runner off at an angle for clearence to.

Can you check the casting numbers on the manifolds? They seem to look like long tube rams vs shot tube rams. Long tube make more torque down low.

Those have the long runner divider, short ram run only 1/2 the length of the runner.

Ill see if I get time to grab the cast numbers but yes they are the long ram

On second glance, those intake mounting flanges look pretty warped...you should take them off and slap a stock 2bbl intake on it. I will take those long rams and carbs off your hands for you :pink banana:
