Good evening. Can anyone tell me how the 4 small studs on the back of a '63 Plymouth
Belvedere turn signal bezel are connected to the bezel? I was trying to remove my bezel
and 3 of the nuts came loose with no problem, however, on the fourth one I could feel
something pop and now the nut no longer loosens or tightens. Yikes. It must not have
completely broken because I can't pull the nut and whatevers left of stud out.
Don't you just love it when you wind up having to disassemble the whole front of a car
to repair a $.05 part that should spun right off.

They are on clips that slide on to the edge with some wiggle room to align with the holes in the fender.

Hemi-itis, thank you for the info. I'm trying to picture the clips and what on them could break
that would allow the stud to freely spin in either direction, but still not allow it to be removed.

I will get you some pictures.
