I had back surgery and now it's time to plan on how I want this build to go. When my back fusion heals I want to be ready. Questions...... What is the best disk brake kit bang for the buck for this car. I don't want a brake booster on the firewall so I am planning on 4 piston calipers. Also possibly cross drilled rotors. I've been looking at p-s-t and wilwood. Any suggestions.
Summit in Texas is only about a 30 minute drive from me so I might go there. USCartool has weld in frame connectors and a level 3 kit. It also includes the parts to relocate the springs. I know it's only a 426 street wedge but it should be good for 400+hp. I feel these mods are necessary.
Any suggestions and recommendations appreciated.

Nice if the bottom is as nice as the top I would't weld on it now. I have had good luck with wilwood nice stuff but kind of pricey. With a bad back I am sure there are a lot of little thing you can do on the interior.

SSBC. Stainless Steel Brake Corp. 65 Belvedere 472 Hemi. 4 wheel disc kit no booster. It is their basic kit that has been on the car since 2003. Stops better than the factory Mopar stuff that I put on my Valiant. You can up grade to powder coat and other fancy stuff. I got mine from Year One. Summit should have them too.

Don't need frames tied at that HP level.
Those wheels and tires... ugh... it's like drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa

Here's the US Car Tool Frame Conns on my '63 330. They went in very nicely, and look pretty good too. You could easily go with the US CT Level 1 Kit, as you won't need anything more with 400 HP...

Why do you feel it's necessary to make a remark like that? I don't see where the OP asked for your opinion...Do you think anybody really cares what you think about those wheels and tires?

Nice looking 63. One of my favorites. I had good luck with non-power Wilwoods at all 4 corners. Simple and no caliper slides to corrode and stick. Very easy pad replacement. Sub-frame connectors a good idea if for no other reason than to just keep the uni-body from settling in the center on these old bodies.

Nice work as that looks great. Good luck with it !!! Ron
