Have came across a very nice #2 driver quality 63 sport fury golden commando, convertible, 383, 727, AC, flawless interior, great paint. Not sure if numbers matching at this point. I realize this leaves many questions as to value of the car, for the sake of argument.
Value numbers matching or not numbers matching?

apologies is my original post was vague, I do not own the car, intent of question was what would something like this be worth?

There was something like that for sale around here recently but with a 318. The guy wanted $15k. Hope this helps.

Though not a convertible my buddy got 35 grand for his non numbers 64 Fury.I go by "Price is what someone is willing to pay".This car was loaded with factory options such as air, power windows etc.. It seems to me that early "B" body cars that are not Hemi or Maxies in very nice condition seem to top out at 25 grand-ish.

Not to be picky, but it seems that your buddy's did a little better than 25K...and by that, I mean 40% better! Like you said, it's worth what someone is willing to pay. If it's underpriced it'll sell quickly and if it's overpriced it probably will sell but you might have to wait a long time for the 'right' guy to buy it...

You are right. Took him close to 6 years to find that buyer. He owned it for over 20 years. Another saying in this hobby is, "If you can wait long enough, someone will pay what you ask".

Damn nice 63 Vert for the money ! ^^^^^^^^^
