It's insane, I paid a shop $5,300 to PAINT my 63 Polara and it's still not done.
(+ I paid $1,200 for paint and threw that in to spur them on)
I'm a 7 hour drive from Phoenix. I should run and "git it"

He's a real nice guy.
I called him Saturday. Told him I was a 7 hour drive away. Told him I wanted the car. He told me someone else had also expressed interest in it. I told him I can't get the money untill Monday as Banks-Credit Unions where I live are closed. I could give him a down payment but he wanted cash. I called him Sunday, he said the "other guy" came by with $500 for a deposit. I could have given him $500 to hold car too. Well, anyway, I missed the oppourtunity to get the car. Someone got a great 383 2-BBl 64 Polara red interior/red exterior. Interior was all re-done. Said he had $3,500 in the interior and it looked like it. He told me he was going to make a "gasser" out of the car but it was too pristine to modify. I agreed seeing the pictures.
PS: it came with another engine. Oh well, I'm pressing on w/ my 63!
