Ok guys, here's the story. I have a 64 Fury vert with the following factory options:
Power steering
Power brakes
Power windows
Power bench seat
Factory (under dash) air
318/pushbutton trans

I would like to know how rare (or common) this option group is in this model car. I was told by some collector car auction folks that Galen Govier is the recognized expert in this field but I have found him impossible to get in touch with. Can any of y'all help me with info or sources? Any help would be appreciated a whole bunch. If someone wants to contact me by email my address is [email protected]

Thanks
Bud

The power windows are rare, power seat is even rarer. I know of no under dash factory air condition, that would have been a dealer install option. all b body air conditioning was in dash as far as I know.

Ok guys....

AFAIK, the options breakdown for 64 Furys has not been published.

If it was, you still cannot combine options to determine a production number (i.e. How many cars with PS and power windows.) so there's no way to know how many cars came equipped like yours.

Accurate reply ^^^^

Please… stay away from Galen. He is NOT an expert in Early B bodies.

May I ask why you want to know how rare options are?

First, I would just like to know if I have anything to brag about at car shows & such. Secondly, If I have a car equipped with some unique and desirable options (all other things being equal), it SHOULD be worth more money if I should decide to sell it.

The options are nice convenience items that make driving more enjoyable but as far as bragging rights....not really. I would think most people would rather swap any of the power options for an original 426 street wedge.

As far as value, again, not really. They are "nice to have" items but nothing pops out that would increase the value of a 318 car that much.
