First: Welcome. Lots of great people and info here.

Second: An assumption...you are looking at a copy of your IBM card and you show a number "1" in the box marked ENGINE in about the middle of the card on the second line.

To find the full engine code on a 64 IBM card, you need to look at columns 50 (ENGINES AND POWER PACKAGES) and 51 (POWER PACKAGE). That will give you both digits you need to determine which engine the car came with. My guess is that you will find the number 1 is punched out in column 50 and the number 4 is punched out in column 51 giving you the whole engine code 14 which is the 426-4bbl street wedge.

Yup , thats it . Thanks ! I'll tell you about it's history that I know. It came to WI about 20 yrs ago. The guy I bought it from had it stuffed in a shed along side 2 superbees ,a 70 coronet wagon and a 65 satilite wagon (1 bee was a mod top). anyway , when he brought it back it had a 426 maxi in it. thats the way he got from out in CA . It was raced out there by a guy named Eugene Burdell in the SanFran area. so as it is right now it's a gutted car in race trim and the inside is full of the parts I have bought for it in the past 6 years.

Welcome - how about some pics?

once I find the cord to plug into my camera that my daughter used I will post a few. It's not to good looking right now but it's straight and solid. I see your going to put a 426 in yours also . The guy I bought mine from may have a block in the shed yet . I know he has a few 413's and an old 426 but not sure of the year or what he want's for them.
