Hey guys. I asked and got a reply.
" Ed, so far not enough interest out there to justify $12 K in tooling. I am taking deposits and have 5 on file. I would need 20 deposits to make it happen. Dodge pads that are exact duplicates of factory would cost $750 + shipping. If interested let me know asap. Deposit required is $350. Deposit to be made payable to me, Bill Petrow.

The Plymouth pads sold out as fast as we advertised and I had wished the DODGE WOULD HAVE ALSO. So if you can scare up 15 deposits I will do the pads. Takes about 6 mos with USA made tooling and final product.

Regards, Bill"

It costs about $650 for a place like Just Dashes to redo your old 64 Dodge core. So $750 isn't all that far off the mark I'd say. Still, I hear ya - $750 is $750!
