Are there any companies out there that have pads for these old girls? Mine came without a pad.
I see Herbs has them listed Herb's Parts: 1965 B Body Dash Pad NEW, Dash Pads, 65RWDASHPAD.

or would it be best to find a core and have it redone?

I see the applications are for 64 Polara and 65 Satellite taking the same pad.

ABC Moparts makes them. This is maybe where Herbs gets them.

While I have you here, what are you using for outside mirrors? I sure like the twin post style and I think it would fit right in with the rocket ship trim on the 64's. One on both sides for balance.

I have the inside adjustable drivers side and matching passenger side on my car. The hole was already in the driver's door for the adjustable mirror. I added a matching repro passenger mirror to balance it. I was careful to mount it in the same position on the door as the driver's mirror. Unfortunately, this placed it in a position where I can't really see with it. Oh well, it looks nice. LOL. The Twin Post is a good looking mirror, as well. Just be careful with your mounting, so the vent window does not hit it, and you are able to see passenger side..

But it looks good.  The right mirrors are pretty non functional.

When I added the passenger mirror, I adjusted my seat for my driving position.
Went to the passenger side used dumdum sp , kept changing the positioning of the mirror until it met my liking. Marked the base, drilled the holes and mounted it.
I find it useful.

I was looking up trunk lock covers on the net and your photo and post came up from last year sometime. I bet those are tough to come by. (and spendy when you do. ) I looked around at the suppliers and didn't find any repops. My cover has a broken tip and it doesn't close correctly.
