64 Polara fender tag

I need help with a fender tag.This is a St. Louis built car.Tag reads : A=3 ; C=6; G=6; H=2; L=5;P=P; S=3. Bottom SO= 0926 1252; BDY=632; TRM=H4R; PNT=BB1. Thanks for any help. Couldn't find much info on St. Louis built cars.

Thanks. What does the p under the p mean? Which letter and number denotes the engine and trans on St Louis fender tags.

A is the trans code C is engine code not sure what the P means.

Could that character under the 'P' on your tag be a number '1' instead of the letter 'P'? My car is a 1964 Hamtramck built convertible Polara, and I have a '1' under that letter 'P' on my tag. I believe this decodes as a "Outside LH Mirror, Manual". The original mirror and drivers door panel that I got with the car when I bought it from the previous owner supports this.

I've seen an example where the number '2' was under this same letter 'P' on a 1964 Polara 500 Convertible, and the '2' code here meant that it was an outside REMOTE mirror.

In '64, STL did put a letter under the P code. If I knew what it stood for, I've forgotten.

This one is a P which was odd to me. My 64 330 doesn't have anything under the P. It was built in Hamtramck and is a highway patrol car. I have seen a couple other tags on other websites with the P.

David you've done a good job putting your car together. I've seen it several times in shows around Nashville. Always assumed it was a factory 4 speed.Looks good!!
