64 rear quarter lip

:usa2:Can anyone tell me how wide the wheel welll lip should be and how much clearance there is between the lip and the sidewall of the tire. Thanks

I just measured the lip on my '63 and it's right at 1" total. The quarter panel lip doesn't quite cover the entire outerwheelhouse lip by about 1/8" or so.

As for how close it is to the tire, it really depends on which tire/wheel combo you're using.

It also depends on which rear end your running......width wise that is.
