Hi guys-Seeing I have my dash out I was thinking I should rebuild or replace my heater core.I've never seen such a huge heater box.Could someone give me a blow by blow before I dive into this.Thanks

I had a dickens of a time finding a heater core for my 63 fury..finally used a new one I found for, I think, an Imperial. Had to do very minor fabricating, and it has been working fine. My two cents suggestion: do everything you ever might want to do under/on the dash area now, one big job. it's a lot of trouble to get access to all that stuff, so do it all while it's apart. We cleaned up the heater box and put new seals on the doors and just went through everything and I'm glad we did, probably never have to get in there again.
 
Enlisted a friend with a memory and the heater core is out and has been repaired and is ready for installation.Have to get a new o-ring for the control valve.We also used my jump starter to power up the blower motor.
