Hi guys, I finally completed my dream of buying a B Body. Brought home a 65 Belvedere I wagon Saturday. Originally a 6 cylinder auto car it has been converted to a 383 4 speed setup. Needs a little rust repair, mainly floor boards. I will be replacing all the weatherstripping in the car to make sure the floorpans don't get soggy again. My question is this, is the front windshield gasket the same between all the body styles? Also does anyone have a good source for the locking strip for the rear side window weatherstripping? I have a ton of questions since I know that a lot of wagon stuff is different but I will take one step at a time here. Thank you for any help.

To the best of my knowledge all '64 and'65 "B" bodies use the same windshield so the rubber gasket should be the same. For the other strip I'd check with Steele Rubber Products. They're not cheap but should have what you need.

do yourself a favor. use the steele rubber products gasket. not the precision one.

I have a 65 belvedere wagon, I used Joe Suchy out of Georgia and Jim kramer for all weather stripping..the quarter window rubbers and lock strips I got from Joe Suchy make sure you get the chrome lock strips, black ones do not work I threw them in the garbage

Yep. I'd use Joe Suchy. He's kind of taking it upon himself to be a go-to for wagon trim; having initiated a lot of the wagon rubber and seal stuff with the supply chain. If you need luggage rack to roof seals, he has them. He's also working on the tailgate glass to body extruded seal.

I agree with 1965ply; the black locking strip that should be right for 65 Bel 1, 62-64 Savoy, 63-64 330, 62 Dart wagon, etc. 1/4 glass is crap. I've installed (4) sets and the chrome is the only one that works correctly. 64HEMI330SEDAN may be on to something suggesting you try the Steele Rubber Products version.

Thanks for the help everyone! I'll be ordering the products from Steele shortly. Also made a note to use only the chrome lockstrip and not the black one. Gotta get a whole front floor pan put in it and want to make sure everything is sealed up before I go through all the trouble of welding new metal in.
