What are correct small hubcaps and were steel wheels with small caps, painted black or color of the car on 1965 Ply. Belvederes? I want this setup on my 65 and want to match original. Thanks from Texas

Wheels were body color. 65 Belvedere & Fury used these caps, believe also used on trucks for a couple of years. They won't fit any currently available new wheels but you can modify to fit. Finding original steel wheels, especially in 15" is a pain.

Thanks that is info I needed. I have 15" steel wheels that will take these caps. I need to find a set of these caps and paint wheels. I am putting them on a 65 383/4 speed Satellite I just bought.

Are your wheels 14" or 15" and what size tires, really like that look. What is width of your wheels? Just bought a 65 Satellite with 15" steel wheels that this caps will fit on. But they appear to be to thin or maybe not right inset, want to get this right before I have them painted. I may have to find org. 14" or what model 15" mopar? wheel would work and take these small caps? Thanks for the help. Larry

My understanding is that in 1965 the wheels were painted black if full size wheel covers were installed and body color if the small hub caps were used.
