hey!, my dad has a 65 coronet with a 440 six pack 727. he currently isnt running a kickdown and i was trying to help figure out where a guy can find a setup for this that you wont have to cut/modify too much? he has been running it for 8 years and had no problems without it but im sure its not easy on the tranny, any info would be much appriciated

Bouchillon or lokar kit will be good... And a six pack in a 65 wont have to worry about period correct. No problems without KD other than not having any fun? It would probably shift into 3rd at like 20mph heh. Also heats up the fluid with excessive slip. Car will drive much better with the extra line pressure from the throttle valve pulled back. Surprised the trans lasted this long! Try the aftermarket kits, good luck.
