I’m looking at machining a custom emblem and molding it into a 65 coronet trunk medallion. I bought the last repop set from classic and it cracked just sitting in my garage. Picture below of my medallion,
It’s only a little over a year old. Does anyone know what in the world the medallions are made out of, original or reproductions? I searched the internet for a long time and came to no conclusion. I was thinking of using epoxy but I don’t know how it will hold up under the sun, the stuff likes to yellow over time. Any suggestions would be really helpful.
