65 dodge. build, scrap, part out or flip?

I'm not sure what got into me but i picked up a 65 dodge polara 500 2 dr. $700 and it's all there. Complete. Minimal rust...lower rear and quarter size on the lower front quarters. 383 2bl auto. Planned on flipping it but not so sure now. Even the hub caps are all there. Runs. I'm more of an A-body type but now I'm intrigued. Probably go get it tomorrow if weather permits. Then what do I do with it? Help please!!! Thx

I think he's hooked already. Once that early B-body bug bites ya, yer done!!! He'll probably forget all about A-bodies in a couple of days - LOL!!!

Now I'm really confused. The 64 polara is a "B" but the 65 is a "C" body? The overall length goes up 1" in 65 and that means chassis change? But it appears the 383 2 bbl puts out 305 hp? Wow. 4 barrel and some headers and it could be a ton of fun. But....still leaning towards flip. Still need thoughts.

You know, you're right. The Polara was a C-body in '65. My bad.
Still a cool car nonetheless and yeah, I believe it's almost TWO tons of fun!!! Drive it for a while before you make your decision, just don't expect it to be as 'nimble' as a small block A-body. It's a BIG car. If you don't care for it, flip it. If it's in decent shape you should have no problem making a few bucks on the deal

You can actually make those cars handle better with better shocks, tires and wider wheels and if you want more, put sway bars on it.
