I have two 65 gauge bezels and they have different ends on them. The old looking one came with my car and the newish one I'm guessing might be from a convertible? It has a factory seam(I don't have the end piece) and is in two pieces. I'm guessing a convertible top switch went here? Anyone?
Also, some of you were talking about a company that restores 65 dash pads? Not just dashes but another company. Trying to find the name of that company. Thanks you guys! Pics-

Appears to me some one cut the end off!The 65 PLy.bezels were one piece The heater bezel was separate. The conv.top switch was located to the right of the steering column below the gauge cluster.

moparsteve636 is right--they were one piece--the only reason I can think someone would cut off the end of the 65 bezel would be to use it on a 64 push button dash. Even then, I have trouble understanding why.

Yeah, you guys are right. Someone very carefully cut the end off and THEN had it rechromed! Mind blowing! Thankfully the guy who sold it is cool and will refund my money. Still a head scratcher though.
