65 park cable

So I tried to stop the leak at my park cable but now have a bigger problem. I released the cable changed the O ring and put shrink tube on the cable. Put it back together, cable is snapped in. The leak was better but when I moved the car I get a loud clackety clack coming from the trans. Only does it going forward. I shut the car off put it in neutral and rolled downhill and it still makes the racket. It’s definitely rotational and increases with speed. Any ideas???

Thanks, that did it! I guess it was pushed in too far. Pulled it out a little and all is good. Sheesh that cables a pain in the butt
