There is a 66 426 wedge block for sale near me. Did they make a 426 past
'65?

So is it a marine motor? If so is it as good as a passenger car motor?

I think they may have put 426 engines in motorhomes that year, but not sure.

How can I tell what is from? Are motorhome blocks the same as passenger cars?

Get the casting numbers off the side of the block, then do an internet search for 426 block casting numbers. You should be able to come up with a list of casting numbers that will tell you what it came out of. If it's from a motorhome it should be fine. I have a 440 out of a motorhome that I'm planning to put in my Belvedere. There may be some differences if it's a marine block, but I don't remember what they are (maybe something to do with the rotating assembly?). But you could still use it in that case as well.
