I know the difference is the parking light 66 and the larger headlight 67 but are they the same fit? What I want to know is can I run a 67 grille in my 66 so I can run my ram air set up like I had on my other car (see pic)

more specific

To be more specific - are the bezels around the headlights the same also. Can I just swap the grill or do I need the headlight bezels also. This is going to be a nice car so I want everything to fit properly with no gaps. I know some of you experts will know this.

The 66 uses a larger diameter headlight...7"...the singles used a larger bulb than the double set up which are 6" iirc...

thanks for the size - that will work for the air horns. I would like to only change out the grille but didn't know if the fitment of the 66 bezels would match the 67 grille.

You know, I'm thinking the 66 bezels would work with the 67 grille....but I'm not sure since I've never really looked at them that hard.

My buddy has a 66 belvedere,I have a 67 GTX...They are different,i don,t think it,ll work...

The grilles are not interchangeable unless you change the fenders. Learned this the hard way.

Didn't realize there was that much of a difference...wow. I also thank you for the pics. I've had a few 66's but never a 67...or a least one that had a front end on it...

At one point, I was thinking about racing my 66 Belvedere in Nostalgia Super Stock and was thinking about updating the car to 67 trim because the rules on the carbs are more favorable. I picked up a 67 trunk lid and about that time, the economy when to **** and hammered my 401 plan pretty hard so all of that got put on hold. Figures now that all these parts start showing up lol

In case no one noticed the first pic is a 65 Malibu.

Headlight "bucket" would be different as well.

Not sure about Plymouth, but Coronet fenders had bolted buckets one year and welded buckets the other. Fenders can swap but there is cutting involved and maybe welding.

I do like that induction system.

Looks liike you'll have to cut the core support/radiator wall anyway.

The headlight buckets are welded on 66 & 67 plymouths and they are different. Also the part between the grille and the bumper is also different.
