I need the thin chrome trim strip at the bottom of the door panel on the 66-67 Plymouth Satellite and 67 GTX.

I just need one for the drivers door, but will consider both doors or a full set for the front and rear panels.

Jerry those are going to be a tough find as so much for our 66-67 Plymouth Sat parts have sadly dried up and are very hard to find. But if you do stumble on some, they are either way too pricy or will need some intensive re-working to bring them to a nice appearance. Wish ya luck as I have had a lot of trouble even finding parts or selling what I have for the 66 model year...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Jerry, I just finished swapping my trim over to Legendary panels and they are symmetrical from side to side, and flipped end for end, including the barbs.

I also just put these trim pieces on the 67 Satellite project. The piece I'm looking for is for the 67 GTX project I just got. I have 3 of the 4 pieces, but the drivers side door panel was in the trunk and the trim was missing. 20 something years ago the Legendary door panels hardboard was prepunched for the trim, but the set for this Satellite wasn't. It was a little time consuming to measure, mark, and punch, but they are identical side to side. I have an old leather punch that made it easy, once you have the locations.

After laying out the barb locations on masking tape, taped to the panel, I used an exact-to knife to slit the vinyl and cardboard pushing the point through. Because of the tapered blade width I didn’t quite go through the whole thickness. So I got a little mini-blade screwdriver with the same width as the tang and with a plastic mallet, tapped it through the rest of the way. The barbs just slid through the slits fine.

I bought a set of lower door trims several months ago with the intent of replacing one or two of mine that got a little dimpled up on the driver doors. And then promptly forgot about them and polished my old trim up. I would kind of like to still use them but if you don’t turn up one from your ad I will see if I really need both and would let one go.

I’ll check what I have in the morning and see if I need both. Had a meeting tonight.

Jerry, I think the only trim I bought was the upper door panel trim. I looked in all my shipping tubes and that was all I could find. If I stumble across any I’ll let you know. Sorry for the brain fade.

Not a problem, thanks for looking.

Hi. I have these GTX door panels that still have the lower strips. The panels themselves may not be usable torn, warped, coming apart etc. but are original. The drivers strip is warped and has larger dents and a screw hole in it. The passenger side is in much better condition with only a couple slight dents on one end. PM me if you’re interested. Thank you Mark
