She was such a **** back in the day.
I am bringing back to life a sad little beauty of a charger in the wonderful '66 vintage. She is recovering from being cracked out, parted out and partially rusted out, but is still a streamlined beauty with a lot of class waiting to be put on display. A real diamond in the rough.
I have friends here in town with my parts on their cars. What can I say, she was a bit promiscuous. So be it. I need to look forward to a better future and therefore I need a lot of parts to bring her back to perfect health.
The doc said she would make it (with a little help)!
Luckily, a kind gentleman who has experienced some of her parts made reparations recently with a smoking deal on a complete interior, trim package and front bumper. I cannot thank him enough. He even pulled the parts and had them waiting when I arrived with my tools. What an amazing person with some amazing cars.
I still have a long way to go. I will cut to the chase:
Here is my current wanted list:
Hood w/hinges
Left door (no interior panel required)
Left fender
Rear bumper
Steering column and steering wheel (black) (Auto on the floor)
Rear emblem
Window cranks (All)
Front trim piece above bumper
Black Seat belt set complete
(2) rims that accept stock hubcaps (I have 2 already)
4 Cragar chrome rims and tire set SS style 1 piece or older similar style
4 redline or blueline tires with decent life left
Rear candy cane
Rear candy cane chrome trim pieces
Full set of rubber for window and trunk areas
AM Radio
I could also use 440 aftermarket parts if you have them and can ship within a 2 weeks of this posting, otherwise ignore the engine request. The 440 is at the machine shop now. I need Al heads, 770 carb, performer RPM intake etc. Very mild street application upgrades. I need almost all top end external parts.
I am not ever going to sell my mopar like I never sell guns or guitars. I hope to bring this one back to life without mortgaging my home. I will pay a fair price, but please give me a deal when possible.
I also have a willys '54 m170 ambulance and a '58 caddy 62 series for trade. I will be needing painting and body work in Southern AZ area soon.
She will be black on black. My pirate ship.
Thank you and may your Mopar be loyal to you now and forever.
